What mean Hazard?

“Hazard” is an English term meaning a danger in the sense of a potential, suddenly occurring event that can have a strong and often uncontrollable impact on the environment. In the hazardous goods industry, a hazard label refers to a sticker placed on packages, containers, or vehicles to clearly and quickly indicate the specific risk involved.

Environmentally hazardous substances = ENVIRONMENTALLY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE

Many hazardous materials that cannot be more precisely classified fall under the collective designation with UN numbers 3077 and 3082. These are referred to as ENVIRONMENTALLY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE, SOLID, N.O.S. and ENVIRONMENTALLY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE, LIQUID, N.O.S.

These belong to Class 9 and require the additional “fish and tree” label, which is intended to indicate that, in the event of an accident, these substances can cause harm to the environment.
