Class Description - Dangerous Goods Class 5
Organic peroxides of dangerous goods class 5.2 are unstable, reactive compounds that possess both oxidizing and combustible properties. Improper handling, mechanical stress, heat exposure, or contact with contaminants can trigger violent decomposition reactions, including explosions.
